The Pact

I'll make a pact with you, my heart.
And swear to keep this clear,
I will not gain this  worthless part,
'Cause love will be my fear.
No matter how long this will take
I know I'm smart and wicked...
I'm not that blind, for goodness sake!
My mind is not full naked.
The demon crossed beyond the sun,
My thoughts, my vibes, my soul...
And gave away a heartbeat run,
That I should not allow!

I, somehow burned my vows.
